Assignment One Plan!
After reading the essay "the poor image" written by Hito Steyrl, I have come under the impression that each image no matter how good or "poor" in quality serves a purpose. If that purpose be to save a moment, influence the masses, or pure artistic endeavors. But the main purpose (in my opinion) of each photo is to capture a moment in time, each painting, photo, or drawing captures something. The subject is of little note, what truly matters is the reason behind the image at that time. For instance, the propaganda discussed in the article at its time of creation its purpose was to sway the masses, but now we look at old propaganda to learn from it and to be able to spot it in today's world.
That being said for this assignment I would like to take a photo each morning outside my window in doing so I would like to slightly alter the image through the physical changing of time. Each day the image will hopefully have a visible representation of the changing of time. Without the core factors of the images changing. The time will be the same, each of the objects will stay in the same place nothing will change but time.
